Texas baseball TV schedule: How to watch the Horns in Big 12 Tournament this week

Fresh off a Big 12 regular season title, head coach David Pierce and No. 20 Texas baseball will begin their quest to win the 2023 Phillips 66 Big 12 Baseball Championship starting on May 24. Texas will officially begin its journey in the Big 12 Tournament as the one-seed in Game 2 on May 24 against the eight-seed Kansas Jayhawks.

Pierce and the Longhorns will be looking for their first Big 12 Tournament crown since 2015 this week. Winning the Big 12 Tournament crown would also go a long way to help Texasโ€™ argument to host a regional this postseason.

The latest Field of 64 projections for the postseason from D1Baseball has Texas sliding by as the last of the 16 regional hosts.

Texas carries a record of 38-18 (15-9 Big 12) into the Big 12 Baseball Championship following a dominant sweep in a three-game series against the No. 6 West Virginia Mountaineers at home at UFCU Disch-Falk Field in Austin last weekend. Dylan Campbell and the Longhorns upended West Virginia by a combined margin of a whopping 23 runs.

Pierceโ€™s squad enters the Big 12 Tournament having won each of their last five games.

Texasโ€™ first opponent in the Big 12 Tournament, No. 8 Kansas, comes in with a record of 24-30 (8-16 Big 12). Texas topped Kansas in two out of three games in the regular season series between these two teams.

Big 12 Now and ESPN+ will broadcast most of the games throughout the Big 12 Baseball Championship this week. ESPNU will broadcast the final of the Big 12 Tournament on May 28, at 5 p.m. CT.

The Big 12 has posted the entire conference bracket, which includes game times and TV information for the entire baseball championship this week.

The Big 12 Baseball Championship is essentially a double-elimination tournament. That means the Longhorns will play two games at a minimum in the Big 12 Baseball Championship this week.

Pierce and the Longhorns will be returning to the spot where their season started in the College Baseball Classic in Arlington, TX. The entirety of the Big 12 Tournament will take place between May 24-28 at the home of the MLBโ€™s Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX.
