In less than 24 hours, fans of the Texas Longhorns baseball program will get to see where their team lands in the NCAA Baseball Tournament. On May 28, the 16 regional host sites for the NCAA Division 1 Baseball Championship will be announced. And then, the complete field of 64 for the NCAA Tournament will be announced the following day on May 29.

As Division 1 college baseball wraps up conference tournaments around the country during this holiday weekend, most of the teams that are projected to make it to the NCAA Tournament sit and wait for the selection committee to determine their postseason fate.

The NCAA Tournament will be divided up into 16 regionals that will feature four teams in each. Each regional will be double-elimination, with the teams seeded one through four. And the 16 regional hosts will be seeded one through 16.

The winners of the 16 regionals will then be paired in eight different super-regional series. And then, the winner of those eight super regionals will move on to the College World Series at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, NE, starting on June 16.

Here’s a look at the key dates, times, and TV/streaming information for the NCAA Baseball Tournament Selection Show and for the rest of the postseason.

Since Texas is essentially assured to be in this field of 64 for the NCAA Tournament, it will be the third consecutive appearance for head coach David Pierce and the Longhorns in regionals. Texas has also made it to the College World Series two years in a row and three times since 2018.
