Most of the true freshmen that signed with Texas football in the 2023 recruiting class enrolled early during the spring semester to compete in spring ball. Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian welcomed more than a dozen early enrollees among the true freshmen that signed to Texas’ 2023 class.

There were also a handful of NCAA Transfer Portal pickups that Sark and the Longhorns got to arrive on campus for the spring semester this offseason.

That left a little fewer than a dozen summer enrollees for the Longhorns among the true freshmen in the 2023 class.

Texas saw quite a few early enrollees stand out during the spring, which is exciting as it pertains to figuring out which true freshmen could make an impact right away this year. There are also still some true freshmen making headway during the summer.

With all of this in mind, here’s a look at three of the most improved true freshmen for the Longhorns through spring ball and early in summer workouts.
