D’antre Robinson, DL

One of the largest Texas commits in the 2024 class, 6-foot-4 and 315-pound four-star defensive lineman D’antre Robinson, was in action for Orlando (FL) Jones High School in a scrimmage on Aug. 19 against Tampa Jesuit.

Robinson was making plays and being disruptive all around the line of scrimmage for Orlando Jones on Aug. 18. It didn’t seem to matter how many blockers Tampa Jesuit put on Robinson; he was getting off them and disrupting plays in the backfield.

He had multiple run stuffs and pressured the opposing quarterback at least three or four times from what we saw on the highlights from this scrimmage.

Jones ultimately came up with a convincing 38-18 scrimmage win over Tampa Jesuit on Aug. 18. Four-star 2024 quarterback Trever Jackson led the offense for Jones, and Robinson sparked the defense to a convincing 20-point win over one of the better 6A programs in the Tampa-area.

Robinson looks to be on pace for another very productive season along the interior defensive line for Orlando Jones High School this fall. In the last two seasons, he registered 137 combined tackles, 33 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, and one forced fumble (per MaxPreps).

Robinson and the Fightin’ Tigers open up their 2023 regular season schedule at home on Aug. 25 against the Cocoa (FL) Tigers.
