Sep. 2 (6 p.m. CT): Duncanville vs. Rockledge (FL)

We have two commitments from the same school for the second straight week, making the list of Texas pledges to watch. Five-star Duncanville edge rusher Colin Simmons and four-star defensive lineman Alex January will look to follow-up their solid performance in a convincing 34-13 win over South Oak Cliff on Aug. 25 with an out-of-state matchup against Rockledge (FL) on Sep. 2.

January was a force anchoring the defensive line for the Panthers in the 21-point win over the Bears last weekend. He had multiple run stuffs and a couple of quarterback pressures in that game.

Meanwhile, Simmons was explosive and disruptive as usual, coming off the edge last week. Simmons had nearly a half-dozen quarterback pressures, two QB hits, and a few run stops against South Oak Cliff on Aug. 25.

Duncanville remains ranked at No. 8 in the nation after the win over South Oak Cliff to open the season last week.

Rockledge comes into this matchup against Duncanville this weekend sporting a record of 0-1 after its season-opening loss to Sanford (FL) Seminole by a score of 22-13 on Aug. 25.

Duncanville is favored to come away with a big win in its first true home game and only out-of-state matchup of the regular season on Sep. 2.
