Sep. 1 (7 p.m. CT): Lovejoy vs. Argyle

No Texas commit had a bigger performance last weekend than four-star Lucas (TX) Lovejoy wide receiver Parker Livingstone. The 6-foot-4 and 200-pound boundary receiver, Livingstone, did it all for Lovejoy in a double-digit win over College Station last weekend.

Livingstone put up over 300 total yards and four total touchdowns in the 50-37 win over College Station at home on Aug. 25. A little over 250 of those yards were receiving, along with three touchdown catches.

Many of Livingstone’s dozen receptions last week were either circus catches or plays where he put up a ton of yards after the catch.

Livingstone also registered a touchdown pass that went for 50+ yards in last week’s win over College Station. And he almost had a 99-yard kick return for a touchdown that was called back due to a penalty.

Livingstone garnered multiple Texas High School Player of the Week awards for his outstanding performance in Lovejoy’s season opener last week. This was easily the best outing of his high school football career to date.

It put the national media on notice that Livingstone is a candidate to receive a major boost in the recruiting rankings in the 2024 class this fall.

This week, Livingstone and the Leopards will travel to Argyle, TX, for their first true road game of the season on Sep. 1 against the 0-1 Argyle Eagles. Argyle fell short of the Melissa (TX) Cardinals in its season opener by a commanding score of 50-14 last week.
