Antonio Coleman, DL

An early top defensive line target out of state for DL coach Bo Davis and the Longhorns in the 2025 class is the rising four-star Saraland (AL) product Antonio Coleman. The teammate of Lacey and Ryan Williams at Saraland High School, Coleman is a highly valued 2025 recruit by both Texas and Alabama.

Texas offered Coleman coming out of the Elite Camp in early June, the same weekend Lacey committed to the Longhorns in the 2025 class. But Coleman hasn’t visited Texas since he received the Longhorns offer in early June.

Coleman told 247Sports after he received the Texas offer in early June that he wants to visit Texas “as soon as possible”. He told 247Sports that he likes Texas’ style of play on defense under PK and the stadium environment from what he’s seen from the Longhorns on TV.

Coleman will be in attendance to watch Texas-Alabama this weekend, which could be the first time he’s seen the Longhorns in person. If he’s impressed by the play of the Texas defense this weekend, that will impact him as the Longhorns look to get him to campus for a game at DKR later this fall.

Jahkeem Stewart, DL

Potentially the top out-of-state defensive line priority early in the 2026 cycle for the Longhorns is the elite five-star Reserve (LA) St. Augustine defensive lineman Jahkeem Stewart. The towering 6-foot-6 and 280-pound Louisiana defensive lineman was one of the early offers at the position for Davis and the Longhorns in the 2026 class.

Texas and Alabama were among the early Power Five schools to offer Stewart. He’s also made multiple visits to Texas and Alabama since last summer, including for both Junior Days of the offseason for the Longhorns (Jan. 21 and March 25).

Stewart is the top-ranked 2026 recruit who will be in attendance for the Texas-Alabama game this weekend in Tuscaloosa. This is a great early opportunity for the Longhorns to impress the top defensive line recruit in the nation in the 2026 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking.
