Jerrick Gibson, RB (UT commit)

Speaking of other top Texas commits that were juiced up on social media after Texas’ win over Alabama, high-four-star IMG Academy running back/UT pledge Jerrick Gibson fits the bill. Gibson gave the horns up on Twitter/X after Texas’ win over Bama on Saturday night.

Gibson told Inside Texas after the game that Texas “did a great job of staying aggressive throughout the game” and “come out with the win” in Tuscaloosa.

The same could said for Texas’ other blue-chip running back commit in the 2024 class, four-star Phoenix (AZ) Mountain Pointe product Christian Clark, regarding their excitement over the Texas win on social media this weekend. Clark gave the horns up on Twitter/X after the win just like Gibson.

Parker Livingstone, WR (UT commit)

One of the most active Texas commits on social media and in communication with other Longhorns’ targets on the recruiting trail in the 2024 class is four-star Lucas (TX) Lovejoy wide receiver commit Parker Livingstone.

Here’s what Livingstone had to say to IT after the win over Alabama on Sep. 9.

"“Texas is going to destroy the SEC. Top home team in the country and destroyed them.”"

Jordon Johnson-Rubell, S (UT commit)

Not only was four-star IMG Academy safety commit Jordon Johnson-Rubell showing how excited he was regarding Texas’ win over Alabama Saturday night, but he was also recruiting other top Texas targets in the 2024 class. Johnson-Rubell tagged four-star Clemson DB commit Corian Gipson, and five-star wide receivers Micah Hudson and Ryan Wingo in a post on Instagram after the win.

Johnson-Rubell’s message to other top Texas recruits/targets after the game was to not “be afraid to be great at Texas and win”. He also posted a similar message on Twitter/X after the win over Bama.
