The final non-conference game of the regular season is coming up on Sep. 16 for head coach Steve Sarkisian and No. 4 ranked Texas football against longtime head coach Craig Bohl and the Wyoming Cowboys at DKR in Austin. Texas has all sorts of momentum coming into this game following the massive Week 2 win on the road over the No. 3 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and head coach Nick Saban.

Sark and the Longhorns bested the Tide in Tuscaloosa last weekend by a score of 34-24. Texas moved to 2-0 (0-0 Big 12) after the win over Alabama and a season-opening victory over the Rice Owls at home on Sep. 2.

Wyoming comes in with a record of 2-0 (0-0 MWC) after a win over FCS Portland State at home at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie on Sep. 9 by a score of 31-17. Bohl and the Cowboys got their biggest win of the season so far in the opener against the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 35-33 in overtime, on Sep. 2 at home in Laramie.
