Among the many elite wide receiver recruits the Longhorns hosted for the Wyoming game at DKR last weekend was 2025 Fulshear (TX) Katy Jordan five-star Andrew Marsh. The top five wide receiver recruit in the nation in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking visited Texas for the first time since he made the trip for the Elite Camp in early June.

Marsh reportedly liked what he saw from the game and the atmosphere at DKR on Saturday night. It sounds like this was an eventful day for the elite in-state wideout, who spent time with Sark and new wide receivers coach Chris Jackson after tailgating and hanging out with other visiting recruits.

He specifically mentioned the screen pass that junior wide receiver Xavier Worthy exploded down the sideline for a score as his favorite play from the win over Wyoming on Sep. 16.

Cobey Sellers, CB

A top defensive back recruit on campus for the Texas-Wyoming game at DKR last weekend was four-star 2025 Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek cornerback Cobey Sellers. Texas likes the 5-foot-11 and 165-pound corner recruit early in his recruiting process.

Sellers made the fourth trip to the Forty Acres since late March 2023 for the Wyoming game over the weekend. But it was reportedly Sellers’ first trip to Texas for a game at DKR.

He said after the game that this Texas visit was “great” and “exceeded my expectations”.

Sellers was active on social media during and after the game. He posted a picture of him with true freshman Texas quarterback Arch Manning after the game. And he showed the atmosphere with all the cell phone lights on and the orange smoke coming out at DKR.
