Texas football vs. Baylor announcers for Week 4 on ABC

No. 3 Texas football opens Big 12 play on Sep. 23 on the road in Waco against the Baylor Bears and head coach Dave Aranda. Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian have their second game of the season under the lights in primetime on the road when they square up against the Bears this weekend.

Texas comes in with a record of 3-0 (0-0 Big 12) after a 31-10 win over the Wyoming Cowboys at home on Sep. 16. Baylor, meanwhile, enters with a record of 1-2 (0-0 Big 12) following its first win of the season

This matchup between Texas and Baylor will be broadcast live in front of a national television audience in primetime on Sep. 23 on ABC. The first primetime game the Longhorns played this season, which came on the road on Sep. 9 against the No. 3 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide, was broadcast live on ESPN.

The Texas-Baylor game on Sep. 23 is the first time the Longhorns have a game broadcast live on ABC this season. The matchup between No. 3 Texas and Baylor will kick off at 6:30 p.m. CT at McLane Stadium in Waco on Sep. 23.

According to the Texas Sports website, the announcer team for the ABC broadcast of the Texas-Baylor game will be Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvoracek, and Tom Luginbill. This is the first time Texas has this crew calling its game this season.

It will be the first of three straight games for the Longhorns broadcast live on ABC. Texas also has the matchup at home at DKR in Austin on Sep. 30 against the Kansas Jayhawks and the Red River Rivalry game against the Oklahoma Sooners on Oct. 7 broadcast on ABC.
