Texas football and head coach Steve Sarkisian have a big visitor list building for this weekend’s battle at home at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on Sep. 30 against head coach Lance Leipold and the No. 24 Kansas Jayhawks. The visitor list for Texas this weekend for the Kansas game, rivals the group Sark and this staff hosted for the Week 3 win over the Wyoming Cowboys on Sep. 16.

This is a much bigger game for the Longhorns on Sep. 30 against Kansas, as it is the first ranked matchup of the season in conference play in the Big 12.

Texas is looking to capitalize on the momentum it built on the recruiting trail thanks to the strong start on the field. Texas’ undefeated start to the 2023 regular season and the top three ranking in the AP Poll put the Longhorns in a great spot on the recruiting trail for future classes.

Sark and the Longhorns also have a lot of momentum on the recruiting trail this fall thanks to landing a commitment from the No. 1 offensive tackle recruit in the nation in the 2024 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking. Texas landed five-star Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei offensive tackle Brandon Baker over the Ohio State Buckeyes, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Oregon Ducks on Sep. 24.

Texas can continue to build the momentum on the recruiting trail with a big performance on the gridiron this weekend against Kansas. Here are five of the biggest visitors for the Longhorns this weekend for the Kansas game on Sep. 30.

Brayden Robinson, WR

Among the top 2026 visitors for the Longhorns for the Kansas game this weekend at DKR is the high-four-star Red Oak (TX) wide receiver, Brayden Robinson. The speedy 5-foot-9 and 150-pound wideout is one of the hottest commodities among the in-state recruits at the position in the 2026 class early on.

Robinson holds offers from over two dozen schools, including the LSU Tigers, Oregon, Penn State Nittany Lions, TCU Horned Frogs, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M Aggies, and Auburn Tigers.

Texas has been after Robinson for over a year now. He first visited Texas unofficially in June 2022. He also made the trip to Austin for the first Junior Day of the 2023 offseason on Jan. 21. The Longhorns offered Robinson on April 27, 2023.

This is Robinson’s first gameday visit to Texas since he received the Longhorns offer in spring. Texas has a big opportunity to continue to build the relationship with Robinson and make an impression on him and his camp with a solid performance from the offense against an improved Kansas defense this weekend.

LSU and the Oklahoma Sooners are two schools that Robinson has visited multiple times and are standing out to him early in his recruitment.
