Sep. 29: Saraland (AL) vs. Foley (AL)

One of the highest-rated Texas commits in action this week around the country is the highly touted four-star Saraland (AL) 2025 quarterback KJ Lacey. Leading the top-ranked team in Alabama this fall, Lacey and five-star Alabama Crimson Tide wide receiver commit Ryan Williams are looking to stay undefeated this week against a 2-2 Foley (AL) squad.

Lacey and the Spartans come into this Sep. 29 matchup at home against Foley with a spotless 5-0 (4-0 6A Region 1) record on the season after a dominant 66-0 win over Robertsdale at home on Sep. 22. Lacey was magnificent for Saraland in their 66-point win over Robertsdale last week, completing 11-of-15 passing attempts for 179 passing yards, five passing touchdowns, and no interceptions.

The lone commitment in the Longhorns 2025 class, Lacey, has hit his stride with Saraland in the last few games. In the last three games, Lacey has registered 649 passing yards, 11 total touchdowns (10 passing), and one interception.

And in the last two weeks, Lacey has just as many passing touchdowns as he does incompletions (eight).

Facing a Foley defense allowing 30.5 points per game and over 250 passing yards, Lacey should be in for a big performance for Saraland on Sep. 29.
