Noah Mikhail, LB

A top-rated 2025 visitor the Longhorns hosted for the Kansas game last weekend was the top 100 La Verne (CA) Bonita linebacker Noah Mikhail. The four-star linebacker from California made his first gameday visit to Texas on Sep. 30 to watch the Longhorns beat the Jayhawks at DKR.

Mikhail reportedly met Sark on the field on Saturday and spent time with co-DC/LB coach Jeff Choate to discuss the plan for him at Texas, the defensive scheme, and to review his film.

He also posted on social media after the visit over the weekend that he “enjoyed my time yesterday”, while throwing up the Hook’em hand sign emoji.

Mikhail left the Texas visit with a good idea of how he could fit in the Longhorns defensive front and what Austin offers him for a college experience.

Devin Harper, IOL

Literally, one of the biggest visitors among the 2025 recruits for the Longhorns on campus for the Kansas game last weekend was the sizable 6-foot-5 and 300-pound four-star Shreveport (LA) Captain Shreve interior offensive lineman Devin Harper. The “big human” out of neighboring Louisiana made his first gameday visit to Texas since the Longhorns offered him in early May 2023.

After the visit, Harper posted on social media pictures of him with Flood and five-star Duncanville edge rusher commit Colin Simmons. His post on Twitter/X over the weekend said, “thank you for the great experience” of the Texas visit.

Harper reportedly said that he “loved” being at the game last weekend. He said that the “running game was lethal” and the “big guys played great”.
