No. 5 Ja’Tavion Sanders, junior

The 6-foot-4 243 pound tight end is third on the team in receiving yards with 378 on 22 catches. What is most impressive, is that among Longhorns will more than five catches, Sanders leads the team in yards per reception at 17.2.

The tight end is the field stretcher that you would expect Xavier Worthy to be. The NFL loves players who can create mismatches and that’s exactly what a big-play tight end like Sanders does.

His numbers haven’t been great from a volume perspective and he’s not much of a blocker, but teams will be enticed by his size and athleticism. I’d expect Sanders to join Mitchell and Worthy in the NFL draft.
