In Week 11, No. 7 Texas football faces a team on the road that has given them plenty of issues in the last decade. The TCU Horned Frogs have won two of the last three meetings against Texas and seven of the last nine. But head coach Steve Sarkisian has a healthy squad looking to leave this Big 12 series on a high note with two straight wins over TCU in Fort Worth.

Sark and the Longhorns enter Week 11 riding a three-game winning streak and a record of 8-1 (5-1 Big 12) after a 33-30 overtime thriller at home at DKR in Austin on Nov. 4 against the No. 23 Kansas State Wildcats.

Head coach Sonny Dykes and the Horned Frogs have lost four of their last five games and two in a row entering Week 11. TCU is 4-5 (2-4 Big 12) after a weekday loss in Lubbock last week against the Texas Tech Red Raiders by a score of 35-28.

To reach bowl eligibility, TCU needs wins in at least two of its final three games during the regular season.

Texas is a double-digit favorite roughly six hours before kickoff against TCU on Nov. 11. After opening as a 10-point favorite this week against TCU, the Longhorns have moved up to an 11.5-point favorite on gameday (per Caesars Sportsbook).

The return of redshirt sophomore quarterback Quinn Ewers to the lineup after missing the last two games due to a shoulder injury is a big reason why the line jumped a couple of points in Texas’ favor. But the Longhorns were nearly a 13-point favorite roughly 36 hours ago after the news that Ewers would start vs. TCU. The line has jumped at various times throughout the week leading up to this game.

According to the ESPN matchup predictor, Texas has a 77.3 percent chance of beating TCU in Week 11.

The advanced stats preview from Parker Fleming of CFB Graphs/Statsowar gives Texas a 77.4 percent chance of beating TCU and predicts the final score to be 29-19 in favor of the Longhorns.
