After a big double-digit win in the final road game of the season for No. 7 Texas football against the Iowa State Cyclones on Nov. 18, the finale lies ahead at DKR in Austin on Black Friday. Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian host the Texas Tech Red Raiders and head coach Joey McGuire in the regular season finale and the last Big 12 game at DKR on Nov. 24.

Texas Tech (6-5, 5-3 Big 12) has found more success recently, winning its last three games to reach bowl eligibility in the second year under McGuire. The Red Raiders won its third game in a row this weekend over the UCF Knights, thanks to a late missed extra-point attempt by Gus Malzahn’s squad in Lubbock.

Texas Tech has escaped with three last-minute wins in its last three contests against the No. 19 Kansas Jayhawks, TCU Horned Frogs, and UCF this weekend.
