The fourth College Football Playoff Rankings show takes place on Nov. 21, just a couple of days before Week 13 action starts around the country on Thanksgiving Week. Since Week 13 is the final full week of regular season action around the college football landscape, this weekâs College Football Playoff Rankings release will be one of the most consequential thus far.
Nine of the top 10 teams from last weekâs CFP Rankings still have realistic paths to the Playoff. Each of those nine teams are one or no-loss Power Five squads that still have shots at making their respective conference championship games.
Here are those nine teams ordered by ranking in this weekâs AP Poll.
- No. 1 Georgia (10-0)
- No. 2 Ohio State (10-0)
- No. 3 Michigan (10-0)
- No. 4 Washington (10-0)
- No. 5 Florida State (10-0)
- No. 6 Oregon (9-1)
- No. 7 Texas (9-1)
- No. 8 Alabama (9-1)
- No. 10 Louisville (9-1)
The path is simple for the undefeated teams in the top five, win out and youâre in the CFP. But the one-loss Power Five teams need some help around the Power Five to make the Playoff, and each needs to win out.
