Texas’ highest-rated wide receiver commit in the 2024 class is the elite five-star St. Louis University (MO) product, Ryan Wingo. The No. 2 wide receiver recruit in the nation, and the No. 5 prospect overall in the 2024 class in the Top247 will make his second gameday visit to Texas this month for the Texas Tech game on Black Friday.

Wingo has visited Texas for multiple gamedays this fall. Most recently, he was on the Forty Acres for the win over the No. 23 Kansas State Wildcats on Nov. 4.

After he committed to Texas over the Mizzou Tigers on Oct. 25, Wingo has been fully locked in with the Longhorns. He’s shown how locked in he is with Texas by visiting Austin for multiple gamedays this fall since he committed to the Longhorns last month.

Moreover, Wingo is one of a double-digit number of 2024 Texas commits who are planning on enrolling early for the spring semester (per Inside Texas).

Wingo highlights a good group of 2024 Texas commits visiting Austin this week for the Texas Tech game. Texas also hosts four-star IMG Academy running back Jerrick Gibson, four-star IMG Academy safety Jordon Johnson-Rubell, and three-star Houston (TX) Langham Creek tight end Jordan Washington, among the commitments in the 2024 class visiting this week.
