Ryan Wingo, WR (UT commit)
Texasâ highest-rated wide receiver commit in the 2024 class, the elite St. Louis University (MO) five-star Ryan Wingo, has been locked in with the Longhorns since he gave his pledge a few couple of months ago. Wingo committed to Texas on Oct. 25 over the Mizzou Tigers. Since then, he has visited Texas for gamedays in Austin multiple times.
Most recently, he was on campus for Texasâs 50-point stomping of the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the regular season finale on Black Friday (Nov. 24). He was very engaged with the other Texas commits and recruits on campus for the Texas Tech game on Nov. 24.

Taz Williams Jr., WR
Among the top in-state wide receiver priorities for the Longhorns in the 2025 class this fall is the highly touted Red Oak (TX) four-star Taz Williams Jr. The top 250-rated recruit nationally in the 2025 class in the 247Sports Composite told Horns247 that Texas âdeserved to beâ in the Playoff this year.
He was complimentary of how this team has played this fall, saying Texas has a âspecial teamâ that is âdeepâ and has a âgreat staffâ. Williams mentioned that he thinks Texas can âwin the whole thingâ this season.
