It's absolutely insane that Texas true freshman star CB Graceson Littleton was left off of almost every major postseason All-American team. He was above-average all year long, and was the Longhorns' starting nickel basically from the moment that he stepped onto the practice field in Austin.
Littleton was a 4-star recruit out of Wiregrass Ranch HS (Tampa, FL), and was ranked as the No.10 CB in the 2025 class. The Longhorns' coaching staff was obviously excited to have him on board, but I don't think they realized how incredibly good he was going to be right off the bat.
From the moment that he got to town, Littleton was a standout special teamer and an unusually good coverage player despite only being with the team for a short period of time. Watching him digest the playbook and understand DC Pete Kwiatkowski's overall scheme so quickly was such an incredible thing to see playout over the course of the summer. Going from a high school player to a starter on Texas' defense over the course of six months is pretty wild.

Littleton dominates in 2025, yet no postseason recognition
Texas' star true freshman was consistently one of the team's top-ranked defenders on a weekly basis, shutting down quite a few "big name" wide receivers in 2025, most notably Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith in week one.
Littleton's totaled 41 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 interceptions, 5 pass deflections, and 2 forced fumbles through 12 games so far this year. Those are very good numbers compared to most true freshman defensive backs in 2025, and the fact that he's not even being recognized right now is egregious.
247Sports.com might be the only "big name" CFB outlet that has him on their freshman All-American team right now. Let's see if any other organizations give him some more recognition after the bowl game later this month.
