3 blue-chip recruits Steve Sarkisian is visiting this week
During the bye week, Texas football coaches are hitting the road to see top recruits in the 2025 and 2026 classes in the state and around the country (especially in the Southeastern United States). Texas has a chance to start sealing the deal with key remaining uncommitted targets and potential flip targets in the 2025 class before signing day in early December.

Head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns also have the chance to get in some last-minute visits with top recruits from the 2025 and 2026 classes for gameday visits before the end of November in the SEC. Texas has two remaining home games that are expecting big visitor lists, including coming out of the bye week next week on Nov. 9 against Florida.
The Longhorns have a few key positions the staff is still trying to fill out in the 2025 class roughly one month out from signing day on Dec. 4.

Lamont Rogers, OT (Mizzou commit)*
With Texas coaches hitting the road on the recruiting trail this week, offensive line recruiting for the 2025 class is a primary focus before signing day early next month.
OTF's Gerry Hamilton reported on Nov. 1 that Texas assistant Chris Gilbert is expected to be in the DFW Metroplex on Friday to visit high-four-star Mesquite (TX) Horn offensive tackle Lamont Rogers. The Mizzou Tigers commit, Rogers, is one of a handful of offensive tackle recruits the Longhorns are looking at as possible flip targets in the 2025 class late this fall on the trail.
Kyle Flood and the Longhorns currently have five offensive linemen committed to their 2025 class this fall. If the Longhorns can get a truly elite in-state offensive tackle talent, the staff is reportedly fine with moving that number up to six along the offensive line for this cycle.
It sounds like the Texas A&M Aggies and Texas are the two schools pushing the hardest to try and chip away at Rogers' commitment to Mizzou over the past few weeks. Texas A&M is reportedly the most likely school to flip his pledge from Mizzou before signing day, with the Longhorns still being in play if Rogers makes it to campus for a visit over the next few weeks.
