With No. 6 Texas football and head coach Steve Sarkisian off this week during the bye, there is plenty of other action to watch around the SEC and college football landscape for Week 10. This is a big weekend in college football, not only for the path for multiple teams to the SEC Championship Game and movement for the conference standings but also with the first 12-team College Football Playoff rankings being announced next Tuesday (Nov. 5).

Ex-Texas football transfers playing in big games in the P4 conferences this week for Week 10

Texas returns to action coming out of the bye week next week at home against the Florida Gators at DKR in Austin on Nov. 9. All four remaining SEC opponents for the regular season for the Longhorns during the month of November are in action in conference play this weekend in Week 10.

Multiple former Longhorns transfers are also in action around the P4 conferences this weekend on Nov. 2. Texas fans can support the former Longhorns players with their new teams in a few big games with ranked teams involved around college football this weekend.

Here are three former Longhorns transfers to watch in Week 10 of the regular season on Saturday.

Austin Jordan, CB

Former blue-chip defensive back recruit from Denton (TX) Ryan High School, Austin Jordan, played two seasons for the Longhorns before transferring back home to the DFW Metroplex with the TCU Horned Frogs last offseason. Jordan was a rotational defensive back for Texas's secondary for two seasons, playing nearly 200 defensive snaps over two-dozen games for the Longhorns.

Jordan was a big get for the Longhorns on the recruiting trail in the 2022 class from the DFW Metroplex a few cycles ago. Texas won his recruitment over the Oklahoma Sooners, Baylor Bears, and Ohio State Buckeyes on the trail.

The junior corner from Denton, TX, faces one of the schools that recruited him pretty hard out of high school in the 2022 class in a historic Big 12 rivalry game in Week 10. Jordan has been a consistent contributor to TCU's secondary, which faces a road test this weekend in a rivalry game in Waco on the road against Baylor.
