One of the few official visitors the Longhorns are set to host this weekend at DKR for the Florida game is newly-offered four-star Tampa (FL) Armwood linebacker Kellen Wiley. Texas threw its hat in the ring in this recruitment for Wiley, officially sending him a scholarship offer on Oct. 29.

This weekend's official visit will be Wiley's first time on campus at Texas. And the Longhorns are battling the Louisville Cardinals and Miami in the race to land Wiley's commitment before signing day this fall on the trail.

Wiley already took his official visit to Louisville last month (Oct. 4). He's now got official visits on the books to see Texas (Nov. 9) and Miami (Nov. 22) during the month of November.

Texas is looking to take at least one more linebacker commitment in the 2025 class before signing day on Dec. 4. The Longhorns already have linebacker commitments in the 2025 class from Fort Worth (TX) North Crowley four-star Jonathan Cunningham and Dallas (TX) Skyline high-four-star Elijah "Bo" Barnes.

Wiley is one of three linebacker targets on the recruiting trail in the 2025 class that the Longhorns are still pursuing this fall. Texas is also pushing heavily for San Diego (CA) J Serra Catholic four-star Madden Faraimo and McKinney (TX) five-star/Ohio State Buckeyes commit Riley Pettijohn for the 2025 class at the linebacker position.
