3 important visiting recruits for Texas vs. OU
Ethan "Boobie" Feaster, WR
Elite DeSoto (TX) wide receiver Ethan "Boobie" Feaster is one of the most highly-coveted recruits in the nation very early for the 2027 recruiting cycle. I don't think there's a wideout that's been this far out from his junior or senior season that's received over 40 offers from FBS schools.
The insanely-talented wide receiver recruit from South Dallas has already visited Texas multiple times since last fall. There are so many schools vying to recruit Feaster heavily that any game that the Longhorns can impress him as one of their top options for an offense to play for well into the future is a win on the recruiting trail for head coach Steve Sarkisian and WR coach Chris Jackson in this recruitment.
Schools such as the Tennessee Volunteers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Michigan Wolverines, Oregon, Texas, Texas A&M, and the Arkansas Razorbacks offered him well before the start of his sophomore season at DeSoto.
Feaster is currently ranked as the No. 1 wide receiver recruit in the nation in the 2027 class in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking.
Texas has already won recruitments for top prospects from DeSoto High School in recent cycles, including for 2023 five-star wide receiver Johntay Cook II. Sarkisian and staff will look to keep that pipeline alive and well on the recruiting for when it comes to decision time for Feaster in the next couple of years for the 2027 class.
