Texas looks to be pretty healthy on the offensive side of the ball after Friday's practice a couple of days ago for the second round of the College Football Playoff vs. Arizona State.

Multiple Texas football players were full participants in practice for head coach Steve Sarkisian in front of the media viewing window portion on Friday (Dec. 27). Since Texas's first-round Playoff victory last weekend, the players had an extra 10 days to recover before the quarterfinal in the Peach Bowl on Jan. 1 against the Big 12 Champion Arizona State Sun Devils.

Texas suffered a view bumps and bruises in the first round of the College Football Playoff against the Clemson Tigers on Dec. 21. Multiple offensive lineman and a key Texas running back suffered injuries in the middle of the game against Clemson at DKR a little over one week ago in the Playoff.

Arizona State has a few notable injuries of its own that head coach Kenny Dillingham's squad is dealing with for the postseason. Most notably, Arizona State's leading 1,000-yard receiver Jordyn Tyson is out for the rest of the season due to an injury.

The Longhorns did have some positive injury updates coming out of Friday's team practice a couple of days ago.

Here are three key injury updates for the Longhorns heading into the quarterfinal of the College Football Playoff against Arizona State.

Quintrevion Wisner, RB

In the span of just one play for the Longhorns in the first-round Playoff victory over the Tigers last weekend, Texas lost a couple of players due to an unfortunate and awkward tie-up on the tackle play. Sophomore running back Quintrevion Wisner and junior starting offensive tackle Cameron Williams both had to be assisted off the field in the second half.

Wisner was having a big game for the Longhorns, rushing for over 100 yards in the first half alone against the Clemson defensive front. But he only had a handful of carries in the second half after suffering the apparent upper-body injury in the second half.

Junior running back Jaydon Blue stepped up for Texas's ground game in the second half, rushing for over 100 yards in the game's final 30 minutes against Clemson. Blue had the game-sealing touchdown on an explosive run play that went for a season-high 77 yards into the end zone to put the Longhorns up by multiple scores against Clemson in the fourth quarter.

It sounds like Wisner was a full participant in practice for the Longhorns on Friday. He took reps with the first-team offense during the media viewing portion of practice.
