Landon Jackson, EDGE

Arkansas has one of the best edge rushers in the SEC, with a high upside NFL future, in senior Landon Jackson. The older brother of the elite 2025 Texas EDGE/athlete commit Lance Jackson, Landon is among the most tenacious edge rushers/defensive ends the Longhorns will see in the SEC this season.

At 6-foot-6 and 270 pounds, Jackson has the physical tools and work ethic to be the type of athletic disruptor who the coaching staff can count out to never give up on a play until he hears the whistle.

It will be really fun to watch the matchup between two future high NFL Draft picks this weekend between Jackson for the Hogs and junior offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. for the Longhorns.

Jackson does a little bit of everything to cause havoc for the Arkansas defensive front. He leads Arkansas in sacks (4.5), tackles for loss (seven), quarterback pressures (32), batted passes (three), and fumble turnovers generated (two).

But it's not just the pass rush and the open field chasing down the ball carrier where Jackson impacts the game most for Arkansas' front line on defense. He also can be very disruptive setting the edge in run defense, and causing havoc in the opposing team's backfield to bring down the running ball carrier.

Jackson leads all Arkansas defenders in run defense grade this season.
