DeMarrion Johnson, OT
Among the early offers the Longhorns' coaching staff extended at Junior Day today was a pair of in-state rising juniors in the 2027 class on the offensive side of the ball. Big 6-foot-7 and 300-pound Tyler Legacy (TX) offensive tackle DeMarrion Johnson and Pflugerville (TX) Weiss wide receiver Tre Moore both received Texas offers on Saturday morning among the Junior Day visitors from the 2027 cycle.

Johnson is one of a few surprise 2027 recruits who made the trip to Texas's Junior Day weekend today. His recruitment is starting to pick up in recent weeks, with offers coming in from the Michigan State Spartans and Texas A&M Aggies since early January.
He also holds P4 offers from the Arkansas Razorbacks, Baylor Bears, Houston Cougars, TCU Horned Frogs, and Tennessee Volunteers, among other programs.
Johnson is the type of lengthy and athletic "big human" that Kyle Flood and the Longhorns love to have in the trenches along the offensive line for the SEC in the trenches. He's got the size and length that Flood wants to recruit at the offensive tackle position.
I expect Johnson's recruitment to continue picking up more national attention on the trail in the 2027 class as this offseason progresses.
