As things currently stand, the Texas Longhorns have the No.10-ranked transfer portal class of 2026, and a few of the team's incoming transfers could end up playing enormous roles and garnering lots of national attention this year.
It's safe to say that Steve Sarkisian was staying true to his "all in" mindset this offseason and dropped some serious NIL money over the past few months. Out of Texas' 22-man portal class, 10 of them could end up being day one starters, and 3 of them are most likely going to make the Longhorns forget about the amount of money it took to bring them to Austin.
These 3 transfers already look like huge portal wins
1. WR Cam Coleman
As everyone knows by now, Coleman is in line to have an enormous season in 2026 for a Texas offense that lacked explosiveness and playmaking last season.
There's a very good chance that Coleman, Ryan Wingo, and Emmett Mosley V could end up forming one of the best wide receiver cores in all of college football this season. Though the exact number hasn't been released, It's not hard to foresee Coleman living up to, if not outplaying, his current NIL valuation and whatever Texas paid him to come to Austin this offseason.
2. RB Raleek Brown
Brown seemingly outperformed Hollywood Smothers during spring practice, and things continue to look good for his outlook heading into 2026. It's no secret that the Longhorns' run game was incredibly bad in 2025 due to multiple reasons, but the lack of talent and explosiveness in the RB room was a big part of it.
Luckily for Texas, Raleek Brown is the very definition of "explosive", and he may not only win the starting job heading into week one, but he could end up being one of the most exciting ball-carriers in the SEC this year.
3. LB Rasheem Biles
With the Longhorns losing Anthony Hill Jr., Liona Lefau, and Elijah Barnes this offseason to the NFL Draft and transfer portal, Texas had to go out and swing big at linebacker. It's pretty safe to say that they did, and they got one who could honestly end up being better than all three of those players in Austin.
Biles is a smaller, but more athletic and versatile version of Hill Jr. and he should be a ferocius playmaker at the second level of Texas' defense alongside Ty'Anthony Smith in 2026.
