Texas Football will travel to Nashville, Tennessee, to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday. The Longhorns are looking to rebound from their loss against the Georgia Bulldogs, which dropped them to number five in the AP Poll this week.

The Longhorns know they can't lose their focus as they look to make it to the SEC Championship game in their first season in the SEC. Vanderbilt won't make it any easier on the Longhorns this weekend.

The Longhorns will have to slow down Vanderbilt senior quarterback Diego Pavia. He's one of the reasons why the Commodores are having success this season. He's risen to fame after taking down Alabama in one of the most shocking upsets of the season.

I expect the Longhorns to bring him down from cloud nine this weekend. The Longhorns must prove they are still one of the top teams in the country. Here are four bold predictions for the Longhorns against the Commodores.

Bold predictions for Texas football vs. Vanderbilt: 4. Jaydon Blue carries the offense

Junior running back Jaydon Blue will have a field day against the Commodores this weekend. My first bold prediction for this weekend is he will have more than 150 yards rushing against Vanderbilt. His speed and ability to make defenders miss tackles should confuse the Commodores' defense.

He caught the ball for 48 yards against Georgia last weekend and scored a touchdown. The Longhorns should be able to run the ball down the middle of the field this week, and Blue will have a week.

3. Isaiah Bond monster game

Junior wide receiver Isaiah Bond will torment the Commodores' secondary this weekend. Another bold prediction is that Bond will have three touchdowns and over 100 yards receiving. Bond did score a touchdown in the second half against Georgia.

The Bulldogs' defense did an excellent job limiting the times Bond was thrown to. You could say he's the number one target for Senior quarterback Quinn Ewers. Even though the Commodores' defense is one of the best in the SEC this year, Bond will torment their secondary with a career day.

2. Defensive onslaught

My third bold prediction is that the Longhorns' defense will have another signature week against an SEC team. The defense won't shut out the Commodores like it did Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry game this year. The Commodores will score more than seven points against the Longhorns.

However, the Longhorns' ability to force turnovers will help them slow down the Commodores' offense this week. Expect the defense to have their signature in the win this week.

1. Quinn Ewers Heisman game

My last bold prediction is Quinn Ewers will have a "Heisman-like" performance against the Commodores this weekend. I believe he will throw around 300 yards without throwing an interception. Sometimes, a quarterback has a bad game, and Ewers had one against Georgia.

It matters how you bounce back, and Ewers wants to show that he's still in the Heisman Trophy race. If Ewers has a Heisman-like performance against Vanderbilt, they will beat the Commodores.
