Joining the visitors for the Longhorns this weekend for Junior Day are Texas's two commitments in the 2026 recruiting class, including Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage five-star quarterback Dia Bell and Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek four-star wide receiver Chris Stewart.
Bell and Stewart can help the Longhorns' coaching staff with their recruiting efforts with top targets who will be on campus this weekend for Junior Day from the 2026 and 2027 classes. Texas has already established which in-state prospects in the 2026 class are their top priorities at key position groups on either side of the ball.
The Longhorns have either been trending positively or are in good spots for many of the blue-chip recruits from the 2026 class who are visiting Texas this weekend.
Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian have plenty of momentum on the recruiting trail to build on from the 2025 class, which ranked No. 1 nationally in the 247Sports Composite and On3 Industry Ranking.
