Carson Beck, QB

Beck is the highest-profile player on Georgia's offense this season. Behind an experienced and stout offensive line in pass pro, Beck has really started putting up some big numbers in SEC play in the past few weeks.

He's a confident and composed quarterback who has started to find more success in new offensive coordinator Mike Bobo's scheme in the last three or four games. Beck's numbers in the passing game have really skyrocketed since the second half of the Alabama game in Week 5.

In the past 10 quarters, Beck has thrown for over 1,000 yards and seven passing scores.

It's a pretty deadly combination that Georgia still has a proficient ground attack to compliment an ever-improving and explosive passing game, led by a future NFL quarterback in Beck.

While Beck probably won't be a Heisman finalist this season, as many in the media picked him to be during the preseason, he is still an NFL-caliber quarterback playing at the next level next year. He's also hands down the best quarterback Texas's defense has faced so far this season.

Beck has been hitting his stride lately, including a career-high of over 450 passing yards and three passing touchdowns in Georgia's 10-point victory last weekend over Mississippi State. His ability to get the ball out on time and accurately to all levels of the field to his speedy receivers will test the Texas secondary in ways that it hasn't seen this season in the SEC.
