...and the rest of Georgia's OL

There are many similarities between the Texas and Georgia offensive lines regarding the proven experience and size in the trenches. All starting Georgia OLs are at least 310 pounds and the Dawgs average around 320 pounds among the starters in the trenches this season. Texas, meanwhile, averages around 325 pounds among its starting offensive linemen.

Georgia's O-Line has done a really nice job in pass protection this season, giving Beck a good amount of time to go through his reads and find his targets downfield in the passing game. UGA's offensive line ranks second in the SEC in pass-blocking efficiency this season (per PFF).

The run game hasn't been as proficient for the Dawgs this season, but Georgia still has the size to effectively move defenders off the ball at the line of scrimmage with all the NFL-caliber linemen in this starting unit for Smart and Bobo.

Two of the best and most experienced offensive linemen for the Dawgs to watch in this game against the Longhorns are center Jared Wilson and guard Dylan Fairchild. The 6-foot-3 and 310-pound OL anchor Wilson is one of the SEC's best centers. He's really reliable in pass pro and plays with great leverage and pad level as an interior run blocker for the Dawgs.

Wilson was questionable for the Dawgs last week on the injury report, but he didn't wind up playing any snaps against Mississippi State on Saturday. We'll see if he's available this weekend for Georgia's OL against the Longhorns in Austin.

Fairchild is probably the best overall starting OL for the Dawgs, among those that are still healthy entering Week 8. He's the highest-graded interior offensive lineman pass blocker in the SEC this season. Fairchild has yet to allow a single QB hit or sack in pass pro this fall.
