The highly touted four-star Mansfield (TX) Lake Ridge offensive tackle Felix Ojo made his first unofficial visit to see Texas football of the 2025 offseason for Junior Day over the weekend. Ojo is one of Texas's top-priority in-state offensive tackle targets in the 2026 class.

Blue-chip in-state OT Felix Ojo sets mid-June Texas football official visit date

Right after the conclusion of Ojo's trip to Texas for Junior Day last weekend, the blue-chip offensive tackle recruit from the DFW Metroplex wasted no time scheduling his official visit to see the Longhorns this summer.

On3's Steve Wiltfong was the first to report the news on Jan. 27 that Ojo is taking an official visit to Texas on June 13. His official visit is expected to last from June 13-15 to see Texas later this offseason during summer trips.

Ojo is also looking to take a few other official visits to out-of-state schools this summer, including the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines.

Texas impressed Ojo during his Junior Day visit on Jan. 25. He's felt like a top priority for Flood and the Longhorns throughout his recruitment.

"It was a great opportunity to talk to him [Coach Flood] and about the school and all that just like where he sees me in my recruitment. He showed me that I'm a priority and made it clear. "

Flood and the Longhorns are considered to be the pacesetters in this recruitment after the successful Junior Day visit last Saturday.

He spent time with Flood and other Texas recruits from the 2026 and 2027 classes who visited Austin for Junior Day last weekend, including five-star Longhorns QB commit and Fort Lauderdale (FL) American Heritage product Dia Bell.

Texas is very clearly in a good spot in this recruitment for Ojo early this offseason. It's a major priority for head coach Steve Sarkisian and Flood to keep him in-state for this cycle in the 2026 class.
