The biggest visit weekend of the entire season is upcoming for No. 1 Texas football this week for the highly-anticipated top five matchup at DKR in Austin against the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs. Texas and head coach Steve Sarkisian have over 50 visiting recruits from the 2025, 2026, and 2027 classes set to visit the Forty Acres this weekend for the Georgia game under the lights at DKR on Saturday night.

Massive visit weekend set for No. 1 Texas football vs. No. 5 Georgia at DKR in Week 8

While there are only a couple of months remaining until signing day for the 2025 class in early December, the Longhorns are still hosting some very important recruits from that cycle for the Georgia game on Oct. 19.

Texas also has a multitude of key prospects from in and out-of-state in the 2026 and 2027 classes scheduled to visit for the Georgia game this Saturday night who could end up committing to the Longhorns for future cycles. This game will be a major tablesetter for the Longhorns, with one of the most elite groups of visitors you'll find at any one contest this season from multiple classes.

Here are four top recruitments the Longhorns could ultimately win out for among the gameday visitors at DKR for the Georgia game on Saturday night.

Javian Osborne, RB

The No. 1 running back recruit in the nation in the 2026 class, according to On3, is set to make his second unofficial gameday visit to Texas for the Georgia game this upcoming weekend. High-four-star Forney (TX) running back Javian Osborne has also seen Texas play as a Michigan visitor when the Longhorns defeat the Wolverines by double digits in Ann Arbor in Week 2.

Osborne is arguably Texas's top priority running back recruit in the 2026 class. RB coach Tashard Choice loves what Osborne brings to the table, and the Longhorns are looking to make him the headliner of another possible two-back class for the 2026 cycle.

Texas's top competition in this recruitment for Osborne is the Texas A&M Aggies, Oklahoma Sooners, and Michigan.
