Javian Osborne, RB

Multiple top running back priority recruits for the Longhorns in the 2026 class were in attendance for the Texas-Texas A&M game at Kyle Field this weekend. Carthage (TX) four-star KJ Edwards and Forney (TX) four-star Javian Osborne both made the trip to College Station to see Texas defeat Texas A&M in the Lone Star Showdown.

Osborne got to see the Longhorns win battles in the trenches on both sides of the ball, which helped Texas sophomore running back Quintrevion Wisner take over the game with a career-high 186 rushing yards and nearly six yards per carry.

Texas is battling Texas A&M and the Michigan Wolverines early in Osborne's recruitment. He's taken multiple visits to all three schools since the start of last offseason.

Elijah "Bo" Barnes, LB (Texas commit)

High-four-star Dallas (TX) Skyline linebacker and 2025 Texas commit Elijah "Bo" Barnes has been excited about what he's seen from the Longhorns on the defensive side of the ball this fall on the field. Barnes was active and engaged on social media throughout the game for the Longhorns.

It doesn't look like Barnes was surprised by the result on the field between the Longhorns and Aggies this weekend. He had an emphatic reaction to Texas's win after the rivalry game against Texas A&M yesterday on social media.

Barnes is excited to see how the Longhorns matchup against Georgia in this rematch this season for the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta next weekend.

He plans to sign on the dotted line for the Longhorns next Wednesday morning on signing day for the 2025 class.
