5-Star Texas football QB commit Dia Bell set to return to Austin next week for Junior Day for the 2026 class
Bell's final trip before he makes a return visit to Texas for the first big Junior Day of the offseason next weekend (Jan. 25) was to see the Miami Hurricanes with his 7v7 team. He and fellow 2026 Texas commit, four-star Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek wide receiver Chris Stewart, highlight the Longhorns' loaded visitor list from the 2026 and 2027 recruiting classes for Junior Day next weekend.
Bell made the short trip from Fort Lauderdale south to Miami for Battle 7v7 Miami this weekend. 247Sports' Gaby Urrutia reported this weekend that Bell was among the recruits the Canes hosted in Coral Gables in the past couple of days.
AJ Milwee visited Bell in Florida last week amid Texas's coaching staff hitting the road on the recruiting trail to see some of Texas's top priority recruits for this class for 2026.
Ahead of the Longhorns' first Junior Day of the offseason on Jan. 25, Bell is focused on recruiting other top prospects from the 2026 class to Texas. He told Inside Texas that he is working to recruit high-four-star Forney (TX) running back Javian Osborne and five-star Fort Worth (TX) North Crowley five-star offensive tackle John Turntine III, both of whom are expected at Junior Day for Texas.
Other programs in the southeast pursuing Bell on the trail early this offseason

Georgia and Miami are the two most recent programs to offer and/or visit Bell early this offseason for 2025.
