Jaime Ffrench, WR

Depending on the major recruiting ranking service you look at, Jacksonville (FL) Mandarin five-star Jaime Ffrench was the highest-rated wide receiver commit in the Longhorns 2025 class. Ffrench has the added motivation of practicing and playing in his home state of Florida in Orlando for the All-American Bowl over the next five or six days.

Landing Ffrench's commitment was a massive win on the recruiting trail for Sarkisian, Jackson, and the Longhorns in the 2025 class late in the summer. Texas won this recruitment over the Alabama Crimson Tide, LSU Tigers, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Miami Hurricanes.

Ffrench can prove that he is truly among the elite wide receiver prospects from this recruiting cycle for 2025 if he shows out at the All-American Bowl in practice and the game in Orlando this week.

Kaliq Lockett, WR

The other five-star wide receiver the Longhorns signed in the 2025 class is Sachse's (TX) Kaliq Lockett. He will get to go one-on-one with some of the best defensive back talents in this recruiting cycle for 2025, including five-star Oregon corner commit Dorian Brew and Texas A&M five-star corner commit Adonyss Currie.

Lockett has added valuable size and catch radius as a future outside possession receiver in Sarkisian's offense at Texas.

"We adjusted a little in this recruiting cycle, if you look at Kaliq, Michael, and Jaime [Ffrench]. I felt a little bit like going through this first cycle in the SEC, we probably needed a little bit more size. We value a lot of the perimeter blocking, and those advantage throws are big for us."
Steve Sarkisian

Like Ffrench, it will be important for Lockett to really prove that he is one of the elite wide receivers in this recruiting class for 2025 at the All-American Bowl.
