On Saturday, Oct. 12, the Cotton Bowl will be split in half once again. Right down the 50-yard line, fans in burnt orange and crimson red will divide the historic stadium for a historic matchup: the 120th Red River Rivalry.

The No. 1 Texas Longhorns and No. 18 Oklahoma Sooners are once again meeting as two teams in the Top 25 but this time around, for the first time ever, the storied programs are a part of the SEC.

So, as the teams reach the century and a score mark (120 games) in their history, which one stands on top?

With Texas ranked as the No. 1 team in the country, it is the highest either program has been ranked since 2008 when Oklahoma was No. 1, and the first time the Longhorns have entered the game as the top-ranked team since 1965.
