National Signing Day has come and gone, and once again, Texas finished with a top-10 recruiting class in 2026. Officially coming in at No.7, Steve Sarkisian and company did an excellent job of going after quality over quantity in this class, ending up with 13 four and five-star players.

Here's a quick look at all 24 players from the Longhorns' top-10 class in order of star ranking based on 247Sports ratings.

Every recruit from the Longhorns' 2026 class

5-star ATH Jermaine Bishop

Bishop has the skillset and potential to contribute right away as a true freshman in 2026 at wide receiver, which is where he'll likely play at Texas.

4-star QB Dia Bell

Bell was the No.5-ranked QB in the 2026 class, and he'll most likely be in line to take over as the starter when Arch Manning leaves in 2027.

4-star LB Tyler Atkinson

Much like Bishop at WR, Atkinson has the ability to see legitimate playing time at WILL as a true freshman in 2026, as well as having the opportunity to be a core special teamer early on.

4-star LB Kosi Okpala

Okpala is a hybrid player in the mold of Sergio Kindle, so it'll be interesting to see how Will Muschamp uses him at Texas.

4-star DE Richard Wesley

Wesley is an incredibly young (16 y.o.) pass rusher with limitless potential, and he could develop into an absolute monster within his first two years on campus.

4-star DE Jamarion Carlton

Carlton was a flip from Texas Tech, who's shown flashes of greatness when rushing the passer at local Temple HS. He's someone to watch out for as an early playmaker for the Longhorns along the defensive line.

4-star CB Samari Matthews

Matthews was the No.1-ranked DB from the state of North Carolina, and he could work his way into a legitimate depth/rotational role for Texas in year one.

4-star RB Derrek Cooper

Cooper's a powerful runner and is already built really well in terms of his frame. There's a very good chance that he'll be utilized early on at Texas, possibly as a true freshman alongside Hollywood Smothers and Raleek Brown.

4-star DT James Johnson

Johnson is a big (6'3", 285 lbs.) interior defensive lineman who needs to work on refining his technique, but when he does, it's going to be scary for opposing offenses.

4-star OT John Turntine III

Turntine III is a position-flexible player with lots of potential who already plays with solid technique. Kyle Flood's No.1 mission will be to make sure that he adds weight, as Turntine's "only" 270-275 pounds right now.

4-star LB Rocky Cummings

Cummings has recently gained a good amount of traction as a recruit, and he could develop into a solid contributor for the Longhorns at MIKE or SAM down the road.

4-star CB Hayward Howard Jr.

Howard Jr. is another "sneaky" player in the 2026 class who's shown a lot of great things on tape in high school. He's long, has excellent athleticism, and could possibly play both cornerback and free safety at Texas.

4-star WR Kohen Brown

Kohen Brown was an excellent get for the Longhorns in June as he was ultimately choosing between Texas, Utah, and USC. He's an explosive playmaker who averaged close to 20.0 Y/R, and scored 29 total touchdowns as a junior and senior.

3-star S Toray Davis

Davis was a late addition to the 2026 class, and it sounds like Will Muschamp wants the ballhawk to play safety for Texas.

3-star WR Chris Stewart

Stewart was somewhat of an underrated recruit, and some scouts were actually expecting him to earn a fourth star but it never happened. He has great hands and could develop into a decent slot receiver in Austin.

3-star IOL Nicolas Robertson

Robertson has great size and strength, and could play both offensive guard and/or center for the Longhorns. He recently dominated at the Under Armour All-American game, and he looks to work his way up into a potential depth role for the Longhorns early on in his career.

3-star RB Jett Walker

Walker is a bigger ball-carrier with deceptive speed and loves to hit. He could end up being an absolute menace on special teams for the Longhorns and eventually see time as a sub-package back. He ran for a mind-blowing 2,351 yards and 37 TDs on 10.83 yards per carry as a junior in 2024.

3-star S Yaheim Riley

Riley is a classic see-ball-get-ball type of free safety and is a great tackler. It'll be interesting to see how he develops at Texas under Blake Gideon.

3-star DT Elijah Ali

Ali is a late addition to the class (January 31st) and he ultimately chose Texas over Temple and San Diego State at the last minute. At 6'5", 285 lbs., he has a good frame and enough athleticism to develop into a solid rotational player for the team at some point.

3-star TE Charlie Jilek

Jilek is another player who could've been ranked higher as a recruit, and nobody would've batted an eye. He has top-notch size (6'5", 230 lbs.) and length for the position, and has a nasty streak as a blocker. Jilek could be a sleeper at tight end for Texas going forward.

3-star IOL Kaden Scherer

Scherer is somewhat of a "tweener" right now, with the length and size to play offensive tackle but the play style of a guard. Let's see where Kyle Flood ends up putting him.

3-star P Mikey Bukauskas

Bukauskas was the No.3-ranked punter in the class, and he has the talent to take over right away.

3-star K Jake Collett

Collett handled place-kicking, punting, and kickoffs at Heritage HS (Ringgold, GA) and was impressive in all three phases.

3-star LS Trott O'Neal

O'Neal was one of the best long snappers in all of high school football in 2025, and he'll have a chance to take over the spot early on at Texas.
