On a recent episode of Barstool Sports' Unnecessary Roughness, Manning explained Texas' new, more confident mindset as they approach week one of the 2025 college football season.

Though his statement could be taken as "cocky" or "egotistical", it speaks more to the fact that the team has finally started to show more confidence in themselves. Rather than just taking it "each week at a time", which has been the kind of vibes they've given off over the past two seasons, they're going to attack each week and opponent head-on.
Longhorn Nation and the rest of the college football world knows what type of team Texas can be this year, and it's about time that the players start acting like they do as well.
Having a certain swagger isn't necessarily a bad thing either, especially with a team like Texas. It's been far too long since the Longhorns have been able to "strut their stuff" around the college football world. Over the past two seasons, they've gotten to the CFP Semi-Finals both years, and have had one of the most dominant defenses in both seasons as well.
It's time to start showing the Longhorns some respect again, and Arch Manning is ready to show the world why once and for all in 2025.
