Attending the Longhorns and Aggies' reunion game is quickly becoming unaffordable

For the first time since 2011, the Texas Longhorns and the Texas A&M Aggies are going to meet on a football field. The reunion of the decade, if not century, and the return of the Lone Star Showdown has been one of the most highly anticipated games of the year for a while.
However, now that Texas A&M has earned a top-ten spot in the AP Top 25, ticket prices for the game have reached an astronomical level.
At this exact moment, an individual fan can attend the game for the small cost of $666, according to SeatGeek –– not to mention the exorbitant fees included with online ticket sites, which brings the cost up to a minimum of $910.

Ever since it was announced that the Longhorns would join the SEC, fans have been awaiting the return of the in-state rivalry between Texas and Texas A&M, many started saving as soon as they realized the two teams would share a conference once again.
However, not many fans can afford to drop 10 grand on tickets, no matter how good either team is or how badly they want to attend the game.
Texas, currently ranked No. 6, and Texas A&M, currently ranked No. 10, are scheduled to kick off on Nov. 30 in College Station.
