Hello everyone!My name is Matthew Meusel and I am currently a freshman at Boston University. Sports has always been my thing. Ever since I was a little kid I always had a ball of some sort in my hand and was running around in my backyard with my brother and friends. As I was exposed to journalism during my education in my hometown of Westfield, New Jersey, I fell in love with it. I got hooked on writing and was a staff member on my school's newspaper this past year, Hi's Eye, one of the only self-funded, weekly high school newspapers left in the country. Beginning college is a super exciting experience and I am so thankful for the opportunity that Hook'em Headlines has given me to be a contributor. Thank you and enjoy!
