The Texas Longhorns defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores today by a score of 34 to 31 on the heels of Arch Manning's dominant performance. He finished the game with 328 passing yards and 3 touchdowns while completing 75.8% of his passes.

This was undoubtedly his best performance of 2025, and the exact type of game that Longhorn Nation has been waiting to see from him. Despite the majority of the game being a great experience, two key events caused Texas fans to explode.

The first one being the insane unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Diego Pavia that gave Vanderbilt an extra 15 yards when Pavia clearly held onto Xavier Filsaime and drug him down with him.

The second one being the incredibly bad call by the refs on Vanderbilt's 2-point conversion.

Not only was it incredibly clear from the field that he was a few inches short of the goal line, but the close-up review made it obvious. Despite this fact, Vanderbilt was still awarded the two points.

Add this blunder to the list of countless mistakes that SEC refs have made in teh 2025 season.
