Texas football (13-2, 7-1 SEC) head coach Steve Sarkisian provided an update for one key injured player heading into the College Football Playoff national semifinals on Friday evening (Jan. 10) against the Ohio State Buckeyes (12-2, 7-2 Big Ten).

The two Longhorns players who have dealt with various injury issues this postseason in the Playoff are junior starting right tackle Cameron Williams and junior wide receiver Isaiah Bond.

Williams suffered a lower-body injury against the Clemson Tigers in the first-round College Football Playoff game on Dec. 21 on a play where running back Quintrevion Wisner rolled up on his leg.

Bond has dealt with a lingering ankle injury that he reaggravated against the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship in early December.

Here's a look at the full injury report for the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup at the Cotton Bowl between No. 3 Texas and No. 6 Ohio State at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX, on Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m. CT.

It was reported earlier today by ESPN's Pete Thamel that Williams was likely to play for the Longhorns against Ohio State. Sarkisian confirmed in his press conference on Jan. 9 that Williams "will play".

Williams took the first-team reps in practice for the Longhorns in full-pads practice on Sunday and Monday of this week.

Due to the lower-body injury, Williams missed the Peach Bowl quarterfinal of the Playoff against Arizona State on New Year's Day. Redshirt freshman Trevor Goosby has played most of the snaps for the past two games at right tackle for the Longhorns.

Isaiah Bond, WR (Questionable)

We don't have a definitive status update for Bond's injury going into the Ohio State game tomorrow evening. Due to the ankle sprain, Bond was limited for offensive snaps against Arizona State last week.
