Texas right guard D.J. Campbell went down in the 1st-quarter after getting rolled up on at the end of a play. He was on the ground in obvious pain but was able to get up with the help of the team's training staff and walk off the field under his own power.
The exact injury diagnosis is unknown as of right now, but he was replaced with Connor Stroh on the next play.
Campbell has been the Longhorns' most consistent offensive linemen in 2025, and by far the best run-blocker. His movement ability in space when pulling and on zone plays has been an asset for Steve Sarkisian's rushing offense.

Longhorn Nation is hoping that the injury isn't serious and that he'll be able to return to the field quickly. The senior offensive lineman from Arlington, TX, has started 38 career games at offensive guard for Texas, including tonight.
Stay tuned for injury updates for D.J. Campbell throughout the game.
