The NBA Playoffs are here, and as the 16 teams vie for the highly coveted title, a few of them have a handful of former Texas men's basketball stars on their roster. This year, there are eight former Longhorns across seven different teams who will compete in the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
Some people might be surprised that a few stars, such as Kevin Durant, are not in the Playoffs this year after a disappointing regular season performance. However, here are the eight Horns making a run in the postseason.

Before this year, PJ Tucker had already played in eight Playoffs. This year, he will enter his first postseason with the New York Knicks.
On the other hand, Tristan Thompson returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers after a three-year hiatus and will appear in his 12th overall Playoffs, alongside fellow former Longhorn Jarrett Allen, who joined the Cavs in 2020.
