After putting up a 50-point victory over the Chicago State Cougars in their season opener, the No. 7 Texas Longhorns are set to host the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs in their second game of the year.

Unsurprisingly, as a top-10 team, the Horns are heavily favored against Gardner-Webb, and it comes at the perfect time as Texas celebrates starting center Matas Vokietaitis's birthday on Thursday.

Vokietaitis led the team in scoring on Monday, with a 22-point performance, where he shot 100% from the field (9-for-9). Now, it is time for the Horns' lone returning starter to put on another show in what would be the perfect way to celebrate his birthday.

Spread, moneyline, and point total for No. 7 Texas vs. Gardner-Webb

  • Spread: -40.5 Texas, +40.5 Gardner-Webb
  • Moneyline: N/A
  • Over-Under: +/-154.5 points

For a second straight game, the Horns are favored by a whopping 40.5 points, but this time around, the combined point total is set slightly higher, compared to Game 1, at 154.5 points between Texas and Gardner-Webb.

The spread and the over-under would place the final score somewhere around 97.5-57, giving the Longhorns another resounding double-digit victory just two games into the season.

Because the moneyline is simply so massive, FanDuel did not actually provide one for bettors, which is unlike the Horns' first game, where the line was set at -100,000 for Texas and +8,000 for Chicago State.

Additionally, since it is still so early in the season and because these teams are so unevenly matched, specific player bets are not available on FanDuel's Sportsbook.

How to watch No. 7 Texas Longhorns vs. Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs

Texas gets to host its second straight game of the year with the at-home matchup against the Bulldogs on Thursday evening.

The last time that the Horns lost on their home court was nearly eight months ago, when Texas lost its final regular-season game of the 2025-26 season against the Oklahoma Sooners on March 7. If you are curious how Texas's biggest rival is doing so far, OU lost its season opener to East Texas A&M.

Because the Horns are not playing a "prominent" college basketball program, the game will only be available on the SEC Network+, which is available for streaming on fuboTV.
