When the Atlanta Falcons drafted Bijan Robinson in 2023, they knew that they were getting an incredibly talented player. Though he showed flashes of potential greatness at Texas, I don't think anyone expected him to be setting NFL records as early as his third year in the league.
It was recently announced at the NFL Honors Ceremony that he officially set a new running back record as the first player in league history with at least 1400 rushing yards and 800 receiving yards in the same season.

Robinson has been one of the best ball-carriers in the league since the moment that he stepped on the field for Atlanta as a rookie, and he's continued to get better and more dangerous each year.
He finished the 2025 season with:
- 287 rushes
- 1478 rushing yards
- 7 rushing touchdowns
- 5.1 yards per carry
- 79 receptions
- 820 receiving yards
- 4 receiving touchdowns
- 10.1 yards per reception
- Pro Bowl selection
- 1st-team NFL All-Pro
His overall movement skills and uncanny ability to stop and start on a dime at close to 220 lbs. are what set him apart from most other ball-carriers in the league, and his future in the NFL is incredibly bright.

He’s playing out of his mind and I just feel like it’s not appreciated enough man
Only 5 RB’s in NFL History have cleared 2,300+ Rushing and Receiving Yards..

He's such a complete player in terms of what he can do. He has incredible vision as a runner, the headiness to recognize holes in coverage as a receiver, and is much improved as a pass blocker. The sky is truly the limit for Robinson, and he makes things look so easy on the field. Longhorn Nation is incredibly proud of Bijan and will continue to root for his success at the pro level.
Not many players will ever be able to do what he can, and if he continues on his current path, the Pro Football Hall of Fame will eventually come knocking on his door.
