Ex-Texas football redshirt senior wide receiver Isaiah Neyor has decided to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, per On3's Pete Nakos. This news comes a few days after Neyor reportedly entered the 2025 NFL Draft on Dec. 24.
After spending time at Texas football and Nebraska in the past two years, Isaiah Neyor enters the transfer portal and the 2025 NFL Draft in the past few days
It is the second time in as many offseasons that Neyor has entered the transfer portal. He is looking for his fourth school in the past five years.
Neyor was a big contributor to the offense for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He ranked second on the team in receiving yards (455) and led the Huskiers in touchdown catches (five).
In the 2019 season, Neyor began his journey in college with the Wyoming Cowboys. After working his way into the wide receiver rotation at Wyoming in his first couple of years in Laramie, Neyor broke onto the scene as a starting wideout in the 2021 season.
Neyor was a Second-Team All-Mountain West Conference wide receiver for Wyoming in 2021, registering a career-high 44 catches for 878 receiving yards and 12 touchdown catches.
After he broke out as the MWC's leader in receiving touchdowns in 2021, Neyor used his elevated platform to transfer to Texas during the 2022 offseason. Neyor was expected to be a big contributor to Texas's rejuvenated receiving corps under head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns entering the 2022 season.
Unfortunately, injury issues limited Neyor's time on the field at Texas due to a season-ending knee injury in training camp ahead of the 2022 campaign. He only saw action in one game at Texas in the 2023 season, catching one pass in Texas's regular season opener against Rice for 14 yards.
Neyor rejuvenated his career in college at Nebraska this fall. He's now considering the next steps in his football career as he decides between entering the NFL Draft or potentially spending the final year of his collegiate eligibility if he comes back for one more season in 2025 via another school in the transfer portal.
